Reading Room

The midtown Atlanta area has a Christian Science Reading Room right next door to the church edifice at the corner of Peachtree and 15th Streets. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this peaceful atmosphere for the purpose of reading and praying for yourself, your family, our community, and the world.

The Reading Room has a number of books that you may purchase or borrow including the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. These particular books are available in 16 different languages. Magazines such as The Sentinel and a variety of tapes and CDs offer a healing perspective on world problems.

You will also be able to read or purchase The Christian Science Monitor, which is a respected and award-winning international newspaper. It presents a balanced view of world events, which are important to understanding global issues that confront us.

Of special interest are a number of biographies on the life of Mary Baker Eddy, who is the discoverer and founder of Christian Science and a woman of historical world importance.

There is something for everyone who comes to the Christian Science Reading Room. Children will be delighted with the storybooks and tapes made just for them. The music CDs available make wonderful gifts for yourself, or a loved one. They will stir you with inspiration and fill you with peaceful thoughts.

The Sentinel Radio is a sharing forum for those who have been healed using prayer and Christian Science in their daily lives. there are tapes of this program to listen to or borrow.
